Paused flow

Definition

A paused flow is a Klaviyo flow whose status is no longer live: it sends nothing, but it reports no error. The case that costs is a flow paused while it still had recipients just before.

How it is computed, where to read it

Klaviyo has three flow statuses: draft, manual and live. Only a live flow sends automatically. Pausing a flow is a deliberate action, which triggers no notification outside the account.

A seasonal flow cut on purpose or a flow never turned on is normal. A flow that had recipients last month and is off today, someone switched it off and forgot to switch it back on.

KlaviBoard flags a non-live flow that still had recipients over the previous period, from the free plan.

The threshold

Non-live flow with recipients over the previous period: KlaviBoard alert rule, included in the Free plan.

These metrics, read continuously across all your accounts

KlaviBoard brings 3 to 20 Klaviyo accounts into one dashboard, compares every figure with the previous period and warns you when a threshold is crossed. The Free plan connects 3 accounts, no credit card.
